Toscana IGT 2013
Dolci Pensieri, Toscana IGT, 2013 is an iconic Supertuscan created in exclusive partnership with Collazzi, the private boutique winery of the Marchi and Marchesi de' Frescobaldi family, also known for its top wines from Tenuta dell' Ornellaia, Masseto or Luce.
The Wine
This vintage consists of only 1610 75cl bottles. It is an exquisite blend of Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (35%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Syrah (5%), stemming from our quest to create a unique wine of complexity and character. Before vinification and long aging in finest new French barriques, the best grapes from specially selected plots of the estate are delicately hand-selected according to the centuries-old tradition and experience of one of the world's most exclusive winemakers.
Tasting notes
Dolci Pensieri, Toscana IGT, 2013 is a very elegant and stylish red wine with currant, cherry, spice and bark aromas and flavors. Light notes of Tobacco and Vanilla. Medium to Full body with firm and silky tannins and a fresh long finish. Balanced and attractive now. Better from 2018 on.

Exclusivity
Our understanding of exclusivity is independent from financial aspects. We can do what we do only by staying away from the classic commercial networks and by giving our winemakers time and freedom to create something really special. Most of the famous Supertuscan have an average annual production of over 150.000 bottles and are widely available. The public availability of our Toscana IGT 2013 is limited to only 1.200 bottles. We personally guarantee its value - with no financial risk for our members.
Wine Ratings
Good ratings from at least one of the established experts are important drivers of brand success and quality. While we trust our taste and the one from our broad experts network, we work only with top winemakers who have a proven track record of ratings that are consistently in the high 90s and possibly already hit the 100 mark.

We guarantee that only great wine wich deserves to be called unforgettable will be bottled under the Dolci Pensieri brand. This means that we don't guarantee to produce a specific wine every year. Our Toscana IGT 2013 is fantastic, but as of today we don't guarantee the commercialization of any futher vintages.

I COLLAZZI
Our Toscana Winery
I Collazzi is a property of the Marchi brothers, Carlo and Bona. Under the diligent direction of Lamberto Frescobaldi, the 25 hectares of vineyards yield high-calibre wines of striking personality.
At Collazzi the microclimate is normally warmer and drier than the surrounding area. A portion of the estate lies in a natural amphitheater, with a perfect south-westerly exposure.
The high amount of sun light and the high daily temperatures allow a prolonged, complete ripening of the grapes.

At Dolci Pensieri, we produce micro vintages for wine enthusiasts and collectors in exclusive partnership with some of the world’s most prestigious winemakers. Due to the small quantities we produce, our wines are available only to a selected circle of exclusive members.
The term Dolci Pensieri is Italian and stands for Sweet Thoughts or Sweet Memories. Our primary focus is on Italy. This is where we have our roots and our families have been farming and growing vines and olives for centuries.
Personal guarantee
We produce our vintages for pure passion and are financially independent. We have no obligations or pressure to sell or bring anything to market. The only obligation we have is to quality. We keep investing into research and new vintages. We are also fully committed to our products and guarantee to take back our wine at purchase price without the need for a reason.
